When I make sausage stuffed bananas, I just use mild italian for the hot peppers & hot italian for the mild peppers. When doing like stuffed bell peppers.....I mix about (this isn't exact as I don't measure, since I make it a lot) 4lbs hamburg one 15oz can crushed tomatoes 3/4 cup finely chopped onion 3/4 cup uncooked rice some fresh parsley & basil finely chopped 1 TBSP or so crushed garlic salt & pepper Bake with your favorite sauce as you would bell peppers or stuff both & cook together....my favorite way, stuffed hots & bells together!!

I make as Buck describes but add a little mexican flavor to it I mix in a jar of Habernero salsa(hot) and then top it with the remaining salsa.
