Oh yeah, my favorite trout fishing memories are on native streams. I have never kept any to eat, but I can only imagine they are delicous. If I ever catch one over 13", I would love to have it mounted. They are a beautiful fish!

They are a beautiful fish! years back i caught a native brookie out of a feeder of six mile run in center co. 13", inside of its mouth black as coal ,hooked jaw, just a beautiful fish.

I know they do the replica mounts now... I dont know. I have never fished six mile run, but I am in the area all of the time. I will have to explore the area a bit more... maybe find your sweet spot

One of my favorite trout fishing. i fish the head waters up Mill Creek in sullivan county usually in combination with spring turkey hunting trips. Beautiful fish in remote scenic area is a great way to enjoy the wonderful outdoors. I normally release but on occasion i take one for the ole camp cast iron skillet. So much better tasting then stocked trout.
