Took the nephew and daughter on opener. Each got about 7 or 8 by 10am. Only kept three. pretty good, they had fun. I didn't fish because trying to keep two rods baited and tied up, then taking fish off. No time. May go Friday morning with just my daughter, maybe I can get a little fishing in too. I did notice and so did some other fellas fishing around me that the trout were not really attacking the bait like they usually do. We kindof thought maybe it was the colder water because of the early start. Not sure but maybe it will leave a few in the streams for a while instead of them being fished out right away. Normally they really swallow that power bait stuff, but this year you could easily release the fish, it was nice.
