To get yourselves to the range...don't wait until it gets cold and nasty, late Sept and early Oct are great days to get those rifles, shotguns, muzzloaders and small game rifles sighted-in... you owe that to the animals..a swift one shot lights-out....come on, you've delayed it long enough, remember last year when you said "I'll get to the range more and earlier"... So, let's "ALL" make it a point to get there two or three times...

was doing it this morning. only problem it got to hot and muggy. but your are right people shouldn't wait for the week before to sight in. even goes as far as people coming to my house the day before the season to sight in.

I had a guy a few years ago show up at my door about 9:00 pm..with a sheared of left/right adjuster on a Leupold Base..happened to have a few, sighted it in by car headlight at about 9:30 at night, the night before buck season...it was an 8mm Remington Mag..what a flame in total darkness..it took 3 or 4 shot to get it right on and you guessed it the guy got a buck a few hours later with it....

I try to get to the range every week,Most of the summer I have the range to my self! Columbia Fish and Game. But come november ,everybody and their brother shows up.
