Nice looking trout. I see in the last pic, you were using a wee craw. I'm gonna have to stock up on a few of them ;D

Y I Hunt, get a few colors. Sometimes the trout get a little picky. Don't be afraid to use them in streams. They'll get you more trout than any lure out there IMO.

My son and I went down to the gun club this afternoon. He put a red dot on his turkey gun and sighted it in. After that we hit the river. This is one of four he caught.

Nice fat fish..typical of PA's tremendous cooperative club nurseries....Best thing going in many areas of the state. Here at home its Izaak Walton League and Yellow Breeches Anglers with Starview Sportsmen also stocking some really good fish. York and Cumberland counties offer some great trout fishing for you Northern guys, too if you're itching to get somewhere further south for that early opener.

Caught eight more today. All browns and brookies. Can't seem to find the rainbows or palominos. Oh, well, there's still time.

BT looks like a familiar area....where about on the Yough (you can PM me if needed). I know it might sound crazy but early in the season I have caught them near the laton bridge outside of Perry.

No need for a PM. I fish the river in South Connellsville. It is the area near the South Connellsville Rod and Gun Club. To get close, you need a key. If anyone wants to give it a try, let me know. They will be stocking this Saturday. They're putting in three palominos that are about 20", plus some smaller ones, along with browns and brookies.

Ive caught trout under the bridge RT.#119 going into Connellsville before nice trout. That club does a nice job of raising the trout and they got a nice piece of ground been there once its nice sighted in a turkey shotgun that day also.
