Anyone have and shoot any old Mod.14 Remingtons? I own one and love it. A very accurate rifle ,for it's age. Mine is in 35Rem. a great brush gun! I also own a 141 Rem,in 35Rem. both are great little guns.

I used to have a 141 in 35 Rem loved it for bear hunting, took a couple California bears with it.
Retired it last year when I acquired the Win 70 300 WSM.

I have a set of reminton *spirual* pumps here 25,30,32, 35.... The 35 belonged to my Dad he sure took a lot of deer with it..... The other 3 sit in the safe I've never fired them but sure like to handle them...MM

I'd have to dig them out and look not sure what for safety is on them or what you me by thumb-nail....... ???MM

Some of the Mod.14s had the safety mounted on the bolt,not on the rear of the trigger guard. It was difficult to operate with gloves on,so Remington,moved it back yo the rear of the trigger guard.

Gander Mountain in Greensburg have a Model 14 in 35 Rem for sale. They are asking for 450 dollars I belive for it.

I'v got a Model 14 in 32 remington thats seen a lot of use, not it just sits in the cabinet to keep the 06 company.

MY DAD HAS ONE IN 35REM HE SAID IT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST RIFLES HIS DAD GAVE HIM . HE SAID HE SHOT OVER 50 DEER WITH IT!
