I sure hope it warms up, the upper Pine is pretty much frozen over. This gonna make stocking tough

this week is lookin good, do they have any dates yet? is it stocking done by state or sportsmans club?

The club float stocks the PF&BC fish in the preseason stockings insuring the even distribution of fish. After that the club has 2 stockings in season

Well the ice is gone and the water level is high but coming down. Hopefully it will be good enough to float stock April 6th

On Saturday April 7th the UPCSA will again assist the PaF&BC to stock upper Pine creek We will float stock the commission fish allowing them to be more evenly distributed

Even with todays rain upper Pine creek remained clear

Yesterday upper Pine creek again proved its difficult to fish when the water is cold. The water temp was 36 degrees and the creek was not willing to give up its trout easily. I talked to a dozen or so anglers that had no luck at all. Later in the day in the shallow stretches where the water temp came up the fish were a little more cooperative
