;DThat is a nice family you are raising there bob .how big is your pond, i dont know much about snappers but that seems like a lot for one pond.although i am sure some will move to other habitat nearby.

we did this twice now, last year we had the momma lay her eggs by our yard again....this time the eggs started hatching the day after i went into the hospital for my surgery and all hatched the day before i came home 11 days later so i mised them....my girl friend took care of them this time....i hobbled around when we released though....49 eggs and all 49 made it back to the water, this time we stuck them in 3 different waters in the area....still trying to get one of them outta the water to photogragh....lol............bob
