i actually started bird hunting when i was 13 and i am now 27 and still use the same gun to this day. some of you may find this hard to believe but i have taken 2 birds on more then one occasion in my years of hunting while using my trusty old Savage 12GA. single shot - my very first gun. you would be surprised at how fast a person can reload and get a second shot off when you have used the same gun all your life.

Use a gun? No, I just throw sticks at 'em, I get more than when I try to shoot!! Seriously though, Grouse & woodcock, my 20GA Browning Citauri o/u. It's straight skeet & skeet, with the cover you're usually in hunting these smaller gamebirds, you usually don't get far shots anyway, this gun drops 'em & doesn't blow them to pieces. Shorter barreled than my 12GA, easier to mount & swing in heavy cover. Pheasant, Winchester 12GA semi-auto modified choke.

I've hunted for forty three years with the three inch 12 gauge double I bought when I was sixteen. It's taken everything from bears to boars to bucks, pheasants to geese to ducks. I'll stick with my double.

I've used Winchester all my life. Started with a model 1500 20 some years ago and just recently had the first shell not eject. Now I use the new winchester x2 light and have fell in love with it. i can carry it all day. I won a Benelli uper nova this past spring and it shoots great but what a heavy gun, it only goes in the duck and goose blinds.
