My 1st .357 was a Dan Wesson. It had 3 barrels with it.That was one of the most accurate revolvers I ever owned. You could really tweak the gap on those.I traded that off for a S&W 568 .357.You don't see too many on the used gun market but they're well-made and very accurate

I have 3 of'em -
6", .22 6", .357 6" (ported) & 8" .44 Mag.
As you can see...the only one I have more than one barrel is the 44. haven't done much shooting in a long while, but accuracy was not a problem. Mechanically sound. I have no problems with my three.
Well I did have a problem with the .22. It would not extract spent shells. The bores were not honed as it came to me from the factory. Only rough cut. It went back, they installed a new chamber...and no more problems. We're talken 25+ years ago though!

I haven't heard that name mentioned in years...when they were introduced many moons ago they were about as good as it got..they were extremely accurate and wasn't there something about their barrel, was it interchangeable or something..been a long time since I've even thought about them...the .357's were darn good on the silhouette circuit in those days....

Frank--the barrels were interchangeable and you could actually set the gap between the barrel and cylinder to really find the sweet spot. They pretty much dominated the revolver silhouette way back when
