Both my wife and I shoot a lot of trap. She shoots a Beretta A-390 Trap Gun, and I shoot a Browning BT-99 for singles and handicap, and a Citori for Doubles. After each session I give both guns a good wet cleaning in clean Kerosene, the blow everything dry with compressed air. After, I re oil and grease the hinge pins on my Browning and reassemble. This has worked well for thousands of rounds between both guns. for her auto I use ATF. It is very important to remove all dirt and crud before reoiling, and a full wet cleaning is the only way I know of to do it. Bill T.
