Was looking for a new shotgun for my wife this past spring, I already own Remington, Winchesters etc.. My son BULL357 told me about STOEGER, not knowing anything about them I listened..he tol me they had the exact same system that the BENNELI's have, interia driven and that they are made by them, seems everything is about the same except the price..instead of $1200 plus it was $428 out the door..PATTERNED it and it shot straight on at 25-35 yards..rare in the shotgun world..it came with 5 chokes including an extended turkey that measured .660..looks like a Hastings to me.... for $428 it's hard to beat..I'm going to but at least one more shortly..hard to beat for the price..smooth as silk with no push off the target because of the inertia system..worth every dollar.......GIVE em a look..

Looks like a very nice gun for the price! The inertia action in the bennelis are good. I looked closely at the SBE before I bought my Browning Gold Stalker. The gas auto's... 1100's, Golds have less felt recoil with the heavy loads plus i favor the browning backbore shotguns. For under $500 the Stoegers certainly worth a look though especially since its a 3" chamber & not 3.5 harder recoiler. Couldnt see 1,200 for a SBE...Golds were in the 800 range with no bells/whistles(purdy camo etc). For a $500 dollar 3" semi...this nice stoeger may be the ticket for many!! Goldenized Gobbler ;D
