do any taxidermists here breakdown the price of their work? say fees for skinning? tanning? mounting? finishingor just one flat fee? johnny z

all the taxidermists i ever used only gave one flat fee for there work. the last one we had done the guy said the price of shipping and the tanning fee's were going crazy. and the price of the mannequin was always going up.

no price breakdown here, i have a seperate catagory for tanning and if the cape comes back from the tannery not usable they are charged for the tanning fee,(poor handling) as far as skinning goes no charge unlesss they decide to not have the speciman mounted and price depends on what it is.your prices should have gone up some with the cost of supplies and shipping.
