any thoughts? i think its a little weird and would not do em anybody have em or know someone who does? I personally couldn't look at one of my beloved dogs every day looking alive when it's not, that would depress me on a daily basis & creep me out. (I have them cremated....spread my old lab over the lake & still have my Pitt Bull in an urn on a shelf) I have known of 2 people in the past who have had dogs done. One was a client who had his Westie mounted. The other was a Jack Russell that belonged to a friend of a friend.

I agree with Ann , it is so hard to lose a friend (pet) i have a hard time looking at pictures of all the good times i could never have one mounted. JMO

ive heard of people doing it with like cats, but i wouldnt be able to handle that... i would so much rather bury them in a spot outside that they liked, than have to look at a stuffed body everyday
