I will tell you were to go and save the 1500 bucks. ohio provides maps of the counties and the highest percentage of trophy bucks taken in each. I highly recommend sciota trails and tarr hollow very good hunting or anywhere in ross county.

BUCKSLAYER..save your money, any of the national forest land and state land below Rt. 70 will provide you with all you can handle for nothing...you can price line hotel rooms for $50 a night along Rt. 70..plenty of maps available and lots of land to walk around on...private land is almost non-existant to get permission to hunt on, the vast majority is already leased up by outfitters and out-of-staters.. Also they got some cool hunts that are draw on some the nicest lands around, but they are draw only tags..but they cost $3 to put in on..do your homework, use the internet and you don't to spend a single penny...

Frank ir right Buck. Souther Ohio is full of public land and alot of good deer. i will PM you tonight when I get home from work with some good start info. I am headed there for a week in late October to hunt. If you are interested let me know. I can let you see what I have researced already!
