Hunted at White Oak Plantation one time. First class trophy whitetail guiding service. bo pittman is a great guide & the guides he employs are excellent. Nice lodge & outstanding southern cooking. I didnt take a trophy buck but saw plenty a deer & did kill a nice bobcat and coupla doe.. The bucks needed to have a 16" min spread or be 8 pt. or larger. i saw some bucks but passed since i wasnt sure. www.whiteoakplantation.com/

I hunted at Hawkins Ridge Lodge near Eufaula about 6 times. Killed one 8 pt buck, my son shot two lodge-legal bucks. I didn't see nearly as many deer as we have at home, but the lodge took great care of us. I would have preferred all day hunts to morning and afternoon sits, but that's the way the southern lodges hunt.
