was talking at work w/ some guys about the issue of sawed of shotguns. some beleive that the law (which we are not exactly sure what it is) is in place to protect the gun shooter. they beleive that sawing the barrel too short can cause injury from the gun malfunctioning. while others beleive it is place to keep it from easily being concealed.
i am not so sure about the conceilment theory myself due to the fact that handguns are so easy to get and conceal.
any ideas out there to be shared your comments are welcome johnny z

Concealment was the issue.

I believe you'd be gittin' into some FEDERAL stuff there as well as concealment issues to say the least..

Concealment is the reason for the restriction. You do know that you can legally own a sawed off shotgun right? Just a little paperwork and $200.
