What's the most accurate slug you've found for a smooth slug barrel?
I have a Browning pump & good 'ol Remington Sluggers will near touch at 50 yards in mine.
Other than it lacking a scope mount, I'm having a difficult time justifying either a rifled barrel for it (Hastings is the only one I've found for ~$300), or a separate dedicated slug gun.
What have you guys had good luck with in your smoothbore slug guns?
Thanks, -Mike

If'n my slug barrel had changeable chokes, I'd try that ;-)
The Rem Sluggers sure do fine for the price!

I've tried them all..off the bench with clean barrels..cleaned and cooled between each different shells..the clear winner, with a standard screw-in modified choke was the FEDERAL TRU-BALL..the 2 3/4 inch 1 ounce version..it was leaps and bounds ahead of everything else..I shot a 200 pound plus whitetail in OHIOoooo last fall with one and it worked perfectly..nothing else came close in group size or power...that'll save you alot of time...
