There is also a 50 round drum for it to. The weapon has been around for a few years now. It just can not be justified for conventional use. Shotguns are used for defence only according to the Geneva Convention. There was another Auto shotgun to its called a USA-12 it uses 100 round drums, and looks like a M-249 machinegun.

The gas operation and recoil reducer makes the recoil almost nonexistant. I fired one a a weapons expo at Ft. Bragg. Very very fun to shoot! The only draw back that stopped the project and the AA-12 as far as I knew was barrels heated up way fast, and barrel life from firing non lethal shot.

hmmm no recoil, could shoot all day, that could get expensive. as far as barrel life, i suppose it would take long after a day of shooting.

Fire, Barrels warped firing non lethal shot (i.e. bean bags, and rubber balls). They were very hard on the barrels when they were heated. When they were cooler the NL was ok, but in combat you may have to change from leathal to NL in a matter of seconds expecalliy today in Iraq. On top of the NL there were other rounds like you saw in the vedio a high explosive and flares. The AA-12 in the video looked as if they over came this! So here is to that. I look forward to seeing them. Althought it will be hard for me to give up on my Benelli M-4 that we were just issued!
