I just finished tonight double checking my BH's on 3 of my bows. Man I love those Slick Tricks. Flying like darts even out at 50 yds. I switched to them last year and shot a Buck & Doe with them and the holes were devastating. Also so rugged that even with both shots being complete pass thru's burying into the ground both heads still spin perfectly straight like new. All I had to do was touch up their edges to get them scary sharp again.

I've been using slick tricks for the past 5 seasons.I've killed 15 deer with them and have never had anywhere near the consistant results from any other broadhead.Last Fall I killed 3 deer and a gobbler with the same head.Just like you,All I had to do was touch up the blades.

I just finished the test firing of the MX-3 Muzzy 3 blade broadhead. Unlike the MX-4 of which I conducted the test for Muzzy last season. The MX-3 took a little more time to tune. I was able to shoot the MX-4's with 1.8" vanes. I had to go to a 2.5" vane and had excellent success with my tune. I shot out to 35-40 yards with excellent arrow flight. If the penetration is anything like the MX-4 which I have no doubt it will. The MX-3 may be a broadhead to give a try. In not knocking the G5 being an archery tech with Gander Mt. I've had numerous complaints of the broadhead (G5) bending at the throat just under the blades. Numerous stories from hunters of this problem. If that problem is rectified with the design. That broadhead will probably be one of the best out there on the market.

Buckslayer just stating what numerous people have told me. I've never shot the G5's but have seen the broadheads that were brought into the shop. Each one of the G5's that I saw had the neck bend at the same point. I'm not speaking for all or knocking the brand in any way. I've just seen the results. Customers were a little T'd off after being told by one of the other tech's who pushes those BH's. I kind of caught the flack. I just suggested that I've never had that problem with the Muzzy's. There are alot of good BH's out there. Before I started shooting for Muzzy I shot other broadheads. I just never saw any of the other heads bend in that area repeatedly.
