I just replaced the string on mine. Nephew is into archery big time I enquired about the cables and he said no your string strretches more than the cable so I just replaced the string.

I know that sounds ok. I've building strings and cables for a lot of years. Yes you can get away with not replacing the cable depending on it's condition. I would replace both. Then there will be equal stretching on both. Now that your cable is already stretched now when your string stretches your cam rotation will probably be off. Don't forget about me when replacing your strings and cables. I'm quite known in the Central Pa area for my strings. They are very affordable and guaranteed not to stretch.

If it were me I would replace both. Around here I can get a complete set of custom built pre stretched string and cables for 60$ installed

Well Tess my price is a little less. Can't install them for obvious reasons. Most expensive string is two color $36, Cable $15, three color add $3 to string price. Cable only made in two color. If a dual cam add another $15 for 2nd cable.
