I've owned a few in my time...my favorite was an XP-100 that came in 7 BR...I had it rechambered in 7mm/08...man that baby was just like a rifle..it rocked the world of many whitetails in it's day...the acition was as smooth as silk and it had a great trigger and bolt system..one of few guns I should never have traded away...I used it for IHMSA silhouette contest..it had no problem dropping dem' rams at 200 meters and they weighed a ton it seemed....the SAVAGE is more than likely about the same thing..I've seen a few that are more than capable of shooting deer to 300 yards...HAND CANNONS....at one time my favorites...the wrists are older and wiser non-adays....still have the T//C in various cartridges but I do miss the XP-100 ...

Remington xp in 7mmbr put together by bullberry and a stock savage striker in 308. Beginning a major heavyweight 6mmbr project on a xp platform. Here is my best with the striker from the 09 season here in PA
