How many hunters out there hunt exclusively with a handgun either on occassion or consistantly? Do you leave the longun at home?

I hunt deer and bear with my T/C 14'' super 35 rem Contender. One shot One kill is all ya need. If the shot isn't there theres always tommorow.

I use the my T/C Contender super 14 30/30 for deer and my super 14 223 for varmit they will both get it done and right now!

do you shoot T/C specific reloads or off the shelf rifle loads in your guns?

I use factory loads at of my 35 Rem. Hornady 200 gr.

I do for Deer in Rifle Areas....... I use a Ruger Super Black Hawk 44 Mag... with a red dot scope.

i'll use my 22/22mag pistol on occasion for rabbits and squirrels.makes it a lil bit of a challenege...........

You guys are really lucky, hunting with a hand gun. In Canada the hand gun is a restricted weapon, only to be used at an approved range and a transport permit is also required. We also have to have a restricted firearm license and the gun must be registered.

tracer sorry to here that! it is an exciting challenge hunting with a handgun. I use factory and reloaded ammo depending on what i need to do.

I'm very envious and would like to try it in PA some time down the road when I retire. Protect your rights and continue to fight any gun control.
