Thanks GRD. 5 years ago I had a more fancier boat...a 22' fiberglass center console Bayliner Trophy w/120 HP, 85 gal gas tank , powertilt, built-in stereo/vhf, built in ice boxes, live well, & many other bells/whistles. Much, much more maintenance, heavy to tow, one man launch was a task plus couldnt reach some of the ruff & tuff areas where those elusive stripers, flounders etc. go! Now back to a plain & simple type fishin boat. I still keep aboard a portable VHF though! ;D _________________________

Probably coulda done better sellin the Lund Jon outright vs trade...got several inquiries since postin.. On the otherhand...my dealer really takes care of me & for him to make a few bucks will in the long term likely benefit. JLC Marine is a small one man ownership with family workin there.

Dont give up beddog!!
I started about 30 years ago with a lil 12' cartop and think I have what I need now to sail me into the sunset! Had boats with more bells/whistles but have returned to basic stuff. Many seem to end up with basic which does save some money.

Loggy, like the saying goes... "not till they pry it from my cold dead fingers". My son and I are going out to Nockamixon State park on my birthday weekend (April 25 and 26) for some camping and fishing. I rented a cabin next to the lake and I'll rent a boat to fish all day Saturday and at least half a day on Sunday. I'm stoked!!!!! can't wait until the winter is over and I can get out to do some fishing.
