I find a lot of things hard to believe in the Catholic Faith........but I wouldn't want to discuss them on here, I see a big arguement brewing on this subject. Some subjects are just better off left alone.

Yea there are a lot of things about the Catholic faith that are hard swallow. They way I look at it that the Catholic church is saying that God's word is how you will be judged and you cannot change His rules to make you feel better about your sins. Now I know that may sound a little tough, but then again, it ain't supposed to be easy.
I don't want to start a Jihad here but I am a practicing Catholic and I feel that is what my Catholic education ( Grades 1 -12) has learned me.

the hardest thing that i have trouble beleiving is that most people dont even know what it takes to get to heaven.
i agree with acme hunter you cant change Gods rules to fit your liking or to make you feel better about your sins. doing this is breaking the first commandment, i am the Lord you God you shall have no other Gods before me. see if you change the rules you are actually creating a false God. in the beginning there was the word and the word is God

I was brought up in the Methodist church and in my teens confermed (became memmber) to the Episcopal church, and now in my late twenties to mid 30's am studding Christianity at the church of god.
It's simply amazing how people can take an idea from the scriptures and twist it to there needs. My example of this would be the alcohol drinkers that quote God said drink and be marry.
I don't believe he meant to go out and get obliterated.
The other is how many people that don't now the plan of salvation.
