I have been wearing them the last four years seem to hold up great i see that red wing is making then now got any opinions on them.

very good boots. use to wear rocky but these are much better boots

They are the best pair of boots I have ever owned. I have a pair of 800 gram thinsulate that I bought last year. I can't remember the model that they are though. They're light, durable and warm. I will never buy another pair of Rocky's or other junk I had again.

Just bot a pair on the way down to TN Hog hunt when we side tracked to Bass Pro Shop.. Havent wore them yet but GBJ said they were good boots. Thats all i needed to hear! ;D

They are great boots!! I have bad feet and its hard for me to find a pair of boots that are comfortable. Irish Setters are comfortable and they still make them with a sewn welt in some of their more popular styles so you can get them resoled. I have had mine for 10 years now and the are still like new.

I also wear the 800's...good boot so far, but they seem a little on the heavy side to me..but they are warm and dry and that's why we buy them...

I have 2 pair...1 for upland bird and a pair for deer hunting. They are warm and my feet have never gotten wet yet.

i just got a pair myself.nice boots light,support,dry,good walking boots but i dont think id wear em in the snow hunting..
