Arial photography of an area or topo maps can give invaluable pieces of information for a new area of hunting or even an old. Now you can even use things like google maps to see photos & they also have a terrain map (not quite as good as a topographic map but it gives you somewhat of an idea of the hills/depressions). Find the little vains down between hills & you can probably find some deer. Or the steep hill that you may want to try to avoid.
Does anyone else use these types of info that is readily avaliable online to try and plan a hunt?
