It looks like it's coming to keeping Hossa or Malone..both aren't young, both are as good as it gets in the NHL.. choices choices... I'm not really sure which way this is going to go at this point... Hossa says he will take less than what he could get on the open market to play with these types...Malone left the offices in a huff saturday.... IT all came down to, they just couldn't break the inbetween the blue lines movement..the goalie wasn't that great, he just never faced many shots...when they got down there, they scored or came darn close..but they just had no answer for the half court press.. THE FUTURE is bright, but what does it mean for who's on board for the next ride.

I dont think they'll let Malkin go next year. He wants to stay and they'll make it happen.. Dont think they will hold the last part of the post season against him, when he was the regular seasons second highest goal scorer in the league and the first 2/3's of the playoffs he played great.
They should make Hossa a priority. He is Far and away a better prospect than Malone. A better goal scorer, better puck handler and still a good defensive player. A well rounded player in his prime who also had the most goals for the Penguins in the playoffs. With him crosby and malkin, that offense will be awesome, He fit in with them VERY well, even though they didnt have much experience playing with each other..... I also dont think theyd have done as well as they did without hossa. I dont think Malone was a significant factor at all.
I agree about Fleury Frank... He had one really good performance, Overall his performance was average at best. The games all throughout the playoffs until the wings series, he did well usually had him seeing very few pucks. Really dont want to see them throw tons of cash his way just yet. Would like to keep him around, but I think he is more expendable than their top 3.
Stall is a decent young prospect, though he falls much further down the line imho. I look for him to go.
