Just like to throw out a message for anybody that is intrested in the Pa. Spring Bowhunter's Festival.
Our club just had a meeting and tentative dates have been set for the 1st weekend in April. Same location---Camp Mack Boyscout Camp, Brickerville, Pa.
Our club, Big Buck Archers, is one of the sponsors and soon to have a website up and running so I'll post this information as it becomes available.
This will be the 15th consecutive year for this event and it's one of the better shoots you'll find anywhere. No prizes or trophy's. Just a fun shoot with the only rules being concern for safety. Shoot what ya brung.
I'd like to see some discussion from those who have been there to explain to others what to expect----besides rain. LOL. Talk it up guys.

I've shot there many times. Even when I was a member of Big Buck. I had a lot of fun. Some very interesting shots that will test your shooting skills. Before going get some walking in so expect some hills. For the elite shooters there's a hammer course. Bring extra arrows if you plan to shoot it. The smaller children and adults can shoot the novelty shoots. They are a lot of fun. I believe they set up 7 courses and it'll probably take you both days to shoot all seven. Stay awhile and have fun. Bearslayer I shoot at Hemlock a lot over the years. Probably know ya.
