the younger hunters are the future of our sport.remember to take a kid out hunting or fishing..seems like our sport is slowly fading away.lets keep it going for the future generations..

Buckslayer, you're very right about that!! To anyone interested, I'm very willing to take junior hunters out for a bird hunt. I have some very steady bird dogs that are safe for young hunters to shoot over. Anyone in the NW PA area feel free to PM me.

I was able to guide a youth duck hunt this year and it was the most rewarding thing I did all year. Later I took 2 other kids on their first goose hunts and they had a blast " so did I". any youth that would like to go waterfowling has a spot in my blind anytime.

Two years ago I was approached by the mom of a 12 year old boy. She told me her husband was deployed in Iraq and he really wanted to spring turkey hunt. I asked if he had taken the HSC and if he had his license, seeing all was in order I agreed to take him.Well to make a long story short the boy connected on a respectable bird with an 8" beard.I think I was happier than he was and his mom was ecstatic.About A year later I received a phone call from his dad thanking me for taking his son on his first turkey hunt. I met with the three of them for coffee and presented them with the video I had taken
