. The walk in with the crossbow to stand three. The sun was shinning off the ice coated trees. It was a pleasant sunny morning heading into Stand Three as I slowly made my way through the 18 inches of snow that had accumulated through the week. When I got to the stand I found that the tree was covered with ice from freezing rain we got last Sunday. With this stand unsafe to climb, I set up behind a near by dead fall. I made a mock scrape with some doe in estrus urine and was ready to hunt. By the noon hour it began to snow and visibility was reduced . I headed out of there at 2:30pm to set up my trail cam at Stand Two. Noticed lots of deer tracts and some tree rubs but no deer sightings. With this snow depth it is reducing deer movement and setting up winter travel patterns. My setup . Snowing harder now ! .
