Not just hunting & fishing, but in competetive sports also!! Myself, I heavily compete in pointing dog trials. Used to shoot on a bow league.....that interfered with grouse season though.....

Hi! I'm new to this forum. Found it via myspace. I guess you can add me to the ranks of lady hunters here too. I began my venture into deer hunting 9 years ago because I grew weary of begging for deer meat from my friends. lol (I can kick myself now for not doing it sooner.) After my hunter safety course, a friend took me under his wing and showed me what I was missing. I am eternally grateful for his patience, knowledge and support. Now I plan my vacation time around buck season. I love it. I've had a good run thus far, out of nine years, I only failed to fill my buck tag one season. I don't ever hunt doe. I recently purchased a Mathews Mustang bow and have been practicing...practicing...practicing in hopes to go out this coming autumn. I'm fortunate to live 20 minutes from Cabela's and I spend that much time there that I'm on a first name basis with some of the salespeople.

Good luck this year with your new bow, sounds like you've had some good successes in the past years already! I've been hunting since I was about 9 (played "beagle" to start, LOL!) and love it more every year.
