don't know about anyone else but i am more then just a lil' excited to be able to head out with my xbow again, got all my muzzy huntin out of my system and ready to get down to business with my xbow ;D i have a nice new 180 private farm to hunt all by myself, plus...i have several nice areas in Michaux state forest i can go. all my things are ready to go, its going to be nice now because i'm even able to pack my ladder stand in with me since my health has improved so much ;D best of luck to anyone else heading out, be safe and giv'em He!!

Sounds promising willy!!! I wont get out till Friday with a group of flinters from here... & then will hunt the last 6 days of the season out of my camp. Work tieing me up plus spending time with Daughter being home from college takes the rest of my time. Sure glad to hear of ur improved health & very best of luck!!

in fact...things have improved to the point that i am not only able to make it to anywhere i want to hunt in the woods but i can even do it with a 46 lb. ladder stand and full backpack on my back ;D
sure beats the heck out of the way it was the last 2 seasons where it was all i could barely do to make it 30 yards from the car and hunt.

Glad you are feeling better but remember to pace yourself and good luck.
I will continue to hunt with the crossbow off and on until the end of the month. I was out on Sat. to change the location of my trail cam and even with snow shoes on, I was pretty well beat after walking around for two hours. I did not have any energy left to climb into my tree stand.
