I have been pretty well disabled since 2000, when I had heart attack number 3 and 5 by-pass surgery with a valve repair. Have had my vehicle as a blind permit for 3 years. Fishing isn't too rough for me since I don't walk far from road.

I have peroneal nerve damage to my right leg after joint replacement surgery. I also have nerve damage from calsified ligaments in my neck as well asc3,4,5 and 6 out of alignment and damaged discs. My neurosurgeon is sending me to hershey hospital to see if they can help. Hopefully I can improve on the drop foot syndrome and be able to walk without crutches.

Hello, I have become disabled as the result of surgery to remove a brian tumor larger than a golf ball on Oct. 25 2004 . It has left me totally deaf, with weakness and numbness on the left side of my body, I have facial paralysis on the right side of my face which effects my vision some, and my balance is alittle off. I have not hunted the since the 2003-2004 season and I would like to try it agian!!! My only fear comes from my deafness, falling trees or a dog or bear would have their way with me. I live within 2 miles of Raystown lake as the crow flys and we have alot of public land available to hunt on but the hunting pressure is also very heavy from out of the area hunters. I recently purchased an inline muzzle loader so I can get out in the early season for the doe only season. I have also been tossing around the idea of a crossbow for archery, my dr. has already said that he would sign for the permit. I have 2 compound bows which I can pull back but I am not very steady and have trouble looking thru the sights, the same with a rifle, I have trouble with my eye and cannot close my right eye and keep the left open and I am a left handed shooter. I plan on spending the months before season starts building my strenght and working on my shooting and will be ready to hit the woods. If anyone has any advise or any thoughts on this please feel free to reply. Thank you!!! The Hawk

I dont know if this will help, but you might want to try a red-dot sight on both a inline and the crossbow .you can shoot with both eyes open with a red -dot sight ,hope this helps, good luck
