I have a permit to use my vehicle as a blind. I can't road hunt, must not spot game and then stop and shoot. I can park along the highway as long as I am clear of the travel lane and shoot from my vehicle. The PGC sends a copy of regulations as well as a list of gamelands and state forests with roads you can drive and shoot from with these permits.

I cannot drive so my wife was taking me out in the ramcharger and I would hobble with my walker to a chair and she would go shopping. Last year I got my vehicle blind permit so she decided to huntwith me. She turnedon the truck heater and radio and had a great time picnicing. I was too embarassed to shot. LOL

Are you fella's allowed to hunt from dirt roads on private land? I have 116 acres with dirt gas line roads winding through it to several gas wells. I know the deer & turkey cross at various places and the local black bear just walks down the middle.

YES WE ARE AS LONG AS THE VEHICLE IS PARKED AND WE ARE SHOOTING OVER THE TRAFFIC LANE [PROVIDED THE HUNTER HAS A VEHICLE BLIND PERMIT]. YOU CANNOT JUST ROADHUNT ALTHOUGH I HAVE SEEN PRINTED ACCOUNTS OF THAT HAPPENING. I YOU ARE OFFERING THANK YOU FROM MY FELLOW HUNTERS BEFOREHAND. GEORGE

Hi , I also have the disabled permitt , I just applied for the permanent disabled parking permitt, I'm not as bad off as some of you all , I broke my spine in 2003 , had 3 surgeries that leaves me not being able to walk or stand very long..If you were to see me you wouldn't know anything was wrong unless you looked at me very hard...I have extreame pain from my lower back to my feet. I have had the temporary disable permit for 3 years now,,I'm getting the permanent disability soon..
Nice to meet you all..
Dan

For those of you in need of a place to get off township roads, and on to private roads, where you could park and have a good chance at some critters, give me a shout. I am more than willing to allow access, provided some common sense is utilized. My property is posted for hunting by permision only. Some people can't read, and some just don't want to be bothered. I keep trying to explain to people that they aren't MY DEER!!! The object of the sign's is safety. (50 people on 116 acres isn't safe! ) Plenty of deer, some squirrel, lot's of turkey, and that darn old black bear. ;D

Thank you Setter, that is a very generous offer. I know that those of us in the disabled category really appreciate offers like this. The safety aspect is of utmost importance and I agree too many guns would not be good. Since I am 20 miles from Indiana, may take you up on that offer ifd I can find someone to help me as with this old ticker, dragging a deer is out.

Setter, Back a few years ago we used to tukey hunt in Kittaning down by a creek called scrubgrass creek..Thats when I had good legs and feet..I loved turkey hunting in that area but now it's getting new homes built in everywhere..We hunted the gaslines / patches of woods..We had fun tho. Thats very nice to offer folks to your property and can't say I blame you for worrying about to many people on it at one time.
BLESS YOU
