having limited mobilty i know first hand how frustrating it can be not being able to get to places that i would consider better spots.
i used to be a strictly 'buck hunter' and would hold out no matter what, but not anymore because i am lucky enough to get to where i can see deer let alone to where i see enough deer to be able to be picky.
how many out there feel the same way and how many hold out for that buck?

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A FOOD HUNTER,DOE'S ARE MY FIRST PREFERENCE...NOW THAT I AM OLDER I WOULD LIKE TO HARVEST ONE NICE BUCK ( YOU KNOW A BIG 6 OR BETTER) JUST TO SHOW PEOPLE WHO ASK WHERE'S YOU BUCK......THIS PAST YEAR IN PA BUCKSLAYER TOOK ME TO A COUPLE OF PLACES WHERE THERE WERE SOME NICE BUCK'S. NONE THAT I COULD GET A SHOT AT BUT THEY WERE THERE. I SAW A NICE 8 AND 10......MOSTLY I LIKE BEING OUT IN THE WOODS....

Nothing like being in the wood's ,as long as I'm warm I could stay out all day. I never got anything over a 7 point , not very big either , but I'm also a meat hunter. It used to be pass up on a doe, but anymore first thing that steps out get's it. I have been lucky enough to have bagged a 7 point last year and a 6 point the year before. I didn't know us disabled hunters can kill any buck..I passed a few scrub's but didn't know I was allowed to shoot them till later..lol
