Anybody a fan of these here? I picked one up in 9.3x74R and can't wait to try it out this season....I'm getting a bit lazy in my old age and it seems like a nice carry rifle.....

Now there's two for the ages !!! I haven't heard those words and numbers in years... Both the number 1 and that ole' cartridge 9.3x74R.... a big ole banger !! I hope you keep us posted on both of their performances.. the rifle is slim and trim and lacks the action which keeps it short but with a long barrel which pushes the velocity up.. and the cartridge which is .366 cal I believe will take on anything in this state, it has more power than the Whelen and with that big ole' bullet it should really be fun to shoot. Glad to see HORNADY is making factory shells, I wonder how many companies are making reloading components yet... anyway, keep us posted, pics and all.. GOOD LUCK !!

Hornady, Norma & RWS makes brass and there's quite a few .366 bullets available....I'm told the 286 gr. Partition works for deer as its jacket is thinner than many other Partitions.....
I also confess to bringing a .450/400 home, too.....thank God Hornady makes brass and bullets for it....4D set me up with dies at about half the cost of RCBS......
I'll do my best to put up some pics and what not soon.....
