We had planted Austrian Winter Peas then broadcast a couple pounds of turnips. The peas came and are doing great, but the turnips haven't even started. With the rain we are expecting to see the turnips shortly, along with the clover we broadcast in another area two days before the rain.

I dont plant my turnips till mid august ....by the time they are ready the frost hits them making them more desirable to deer We have just planted our clover here in Lehigh County, which is in the SE. My son lives in Newark Valley, Tioga County, N.Y., what is the latest you can plant clover up your way? I'll be going up there the middle of next week to till up an acre or two, don't know if I should plant clover now, wheat or something else and then plant the clover in Spring, a combination of clover and grain, or just leave the field bare until next Spring. I already have 25 pounds of Imperial Whitetail Clover, just want to know what my chance of sucess will be if I use around 8 pounds of it and add more seed in the Spring.
