On the way home from work yesterday I spotted a large Bobcat about 4/5 miles from home. Tall and lanky as he stepped out of the brush on to an old abandoned rail road bed about 100 yds off the road. Got a great view of him, just wished I had a camera along. First one I've seen in a few years.

There are a few in Bradford County that have been seen this year. I don't know if it's multiple cats or just one that roams all around? Do bobcats have a large area they patrol and "call home"?

Not much luck in the deer aspect but I did have a bobcat under my stand Thursday evening. That bugger was that quite that the only thing that gave him away was the squirels and chipmuncks got quite and I know something was up and out poped a bobcat. I had him at 9 yards and he had a white tip tail with a black strip around it and the back of its ears had white on them also with the black outline. It was awsome to see.

saw a bobcat three wednesdays ago, and this past saturday two ran right in front of me on my road. Also have a bear on my place the last two weeks. It's really great to see these animals.
