after hunting for the first week and being out scouting the cupboard is bare . I've only seen one oak with lots of acorns but the beech nuts are plentiful. the apple trees are bare and most of the grape vines have nothing. now we can't blame this on the deer due to hr. my opinion is the climate to much rain then to little and to hot then to cold. doesn't look good for deer or farmers this year.

TONS of apples here, not a lot of acorns though. Corn crops look good, starting to cut now. Was out scouting today, saw a huge bear!!!!!

I've got tons of apples in Clearfield, the acorns are few and far between. I'd love to see the beech trees give off, its been a while in our area. That being the case you find one of them food sources giving off you might be in business!!!

I have never seen as many black walnuts and hickory nuts before in Lancaster and Ledanon Counties, but not too many acorns, had great crops of corn and soybeans.
