Any of you gentlemen ever shoot one and how does it compare with a 12 guage mag in range and recoil?

i shot one once and they are hype. its not that much recoil because they are weighted. my 835 rocks harder than my buddy's 10Ga. i think its an h&r but not 100% sure right now. range is decent but again i have shot long barreled 12's and hit turkeys at 60yds. i can not attest to actual range.

2 friends have them for turkey getters and they dread the day when it,s time to sight them in these are,nt lil guys either. I laugh when I tell them Rob Keck from NWTF shot more gobblers from his 16 guage. Sometimes bigger is not better.

Yep and the ones I saw were bigguns. Hit one with the sons 243 and didn't even slow him down. I figure a load of OObuck from a 10ga, ought to do the trick ;D
I just got a 10 ga H&R single shot with a 36" full choke barrel and was just wondering how much punishment I'm in for ;D

Had one once, sold after tootoing it around the Kettle Creek Valley one day... not worth the effort of carrying that barrel...any 2 ounce 12 will smoke em'

I had one - boy do they punish ya !! but they will reach out and touch one - the extra barrel length is a pain too - i finally had to "give" it away to cousin.. couldn't sell it on a dare!!!
