I am looking for information about new bow strings. I know zebra strings used to be pretty good. Anyone know a good string and cable brand that doesn't stretch too fast or too much. I have a Hoyt but I forget the exact model. It was bought in November 2007.

Try KG's Custom Bowstrings. His strings are excellent, no stretch pre-stretched strings. He's from Harrisburg PA. I think they call him the XMan Laugh! Laugh! What people tell me they like them better than Zebra by far. Give me a yell via e-mail. KGSCUSTOMBOWSTRINGS@YAHOO.COM.

I may not be advertized nationally. I do make a ton of strings for archers in the Harrisburg, central PA area. I also make strings for a lot of my Pro shooter friends. Every string that I've made you can mark your cam and for the life of the string. It won't move. There is no peep rotation. Not that there isn't other excellent strings on the market. I can say I'm one of them. Let me say one thing. When someone states that their strings are +/- anything. When you twist a string to length and place it on a bow. In that case anyone can state it's +/-. The end result is the string doesn't stretch from that point. That's what I guarantee. Zebra states the same thing. Every Zebra string that I've known has stretched. Sometimes over a 1/4 of an inch. Several guys on this site have tried them and no complaints so far. Williethewelder has a set on his bow. Check a site he placed on pa-outdoors. He has some photos of the string and cable on his bow. Tell me what you think.
