Larry, while I always had great luck with Pryodex P, I'm finding I like Swiss 3F better. I wish I could find Black Mag 3 as I hear that even burns cleaner.

I get very good accuracy with T7 FFFg, but have to swab after every shot because of crud ring. I have two jugs of Black Mag in the gun safe. I'm going to try it this spring.

Stoneybrook, where were you able to find Black Mag 3. I've searched a few places and nobody has it.

Jeff, I'm quite impressed with the accuracy with Swiss 3F. I shot that Ultra Mag I bought off Burnt3d on Sunday. At 50 yds it was one big hole. I decided to fire my last two shots at 100 yds and while the group was low which I expected, the shots were overlapping each other.

I use 3F Swiss for everything. It's alot cleaner than Goex and Pyrodex,,but dirtier than T7. But what the heck,,,you have to clean 'em anyway! What I like most about Swiss is the consistency, and it meters very well. It doesn't have a shelf life like T7 and Pyrodex,,and you don't get the "talcum powder" towards the last of the bottle like you do with the others listed. Thus you can be assured of consistency from start to finish of the bottle. I've been shooting MLers for over 20 years now,,and I've tried almost every powder available. It's going to be hard to beat Swiss for me.
