haven't shot one but I've heard the same. always liked the hoyts. just seem to like the bowtechs better. i still have my hoyt as back up to my guardian . can't go wrong with any of the bows now a days . every manufacture makes a great bow now.

I shot both the alphamax and the Katera extensively. It's all a matter of personal preference but my buddy that ows the pro-shop kept his Katera as did most of the others that bought new both last year.I liked them both but the Katera was $30 cheaper and a little faster so that's what I bought. The AM is a great bow and definately lighter.I wouldn't rule out the Katers though.

Nothin wrong with a Bowtech but I'll take the new Hoyts.I still have my Bowtech tribute at the moment.I may use it as a back up bow or sell it.

I have shot the AM35 and 32 I liked the feel of the 35 but not enough to drop $950+tax on one and have noticed there is a flood of 32’s on the market why I cant say but the 35 are harder to find

Been told the turbohawk is just as sweet as the am-32 and definetly a lot cheaper like 3 bones cheaper.

A friend of mine let me try the AM. It was fast, not a lot of shock. I was shooting a 458 grain arrow that kept it really quiet. I have no complaints.
