I usually just pop a couple caps to dry the primer/breech plug.
I need to experiment at the range to see if I get better results by shooting a fouling shot first.

I like a clean barrel.
Always count on just having to shoot once and while hunting I run a patch between shots if at all possible.

Clean barrel here too, just run some bore butter down after cleaning.

Clean. However Power belts shoot 150 to 200 fps faster in a fouled barrel. The fps is about the same for the sabots in a clean or fouled barrel.I discovered that my power belts and barnes sabots have the same poi. Soooooo I load with the sabot in a clean barrel with the plan to reload a power belt for f/u shots. Fwiw in a NEF inline

Clean barrel here too, just run some bore butter down after cleaning. My Gf missed a doe this year because of doing this, she couldn't believe she missed at 50yards, so we went to range and shot it, the 2nd shot was a foot and half low, third was closer, 4,5,6 was right on. So i then checked mine, i missed a 3 foot board completly at 50yards, and had the same results as hers on the next couple of shot. I can only blame it on the bore butter being left in the barrell. contaminating the pellets. Now i just shoot it a few time, clean its, and just a light coating of gun oil to help keep the rust down while im hunting.

Clean....I site mine in and swab with a mix of windshield washer fluid and alcohol 50/50 mix after every shot. Followed with 2 dry patches. Same thing everytime. Hunting I clean my bore of the oil after my last cleaning with the same mix, 2 dry patches and load up. Keep it clean, keep it simple
