I have some bolts that need some new fletching I looked at the old and they don't seem that they are straight just a tad offset. Can I use a straight fletch? I have 4" vanes on them and was wondering about changing to a smaller size and possibly a quick spin vane. Does it really make any difference on a crossbow? This is my first year using a crossbow, any advice will be appreciated

Yes you can use stright fletch. 4" vanes will work if they are shooting well. I prever 2" Blazers on mine. But then the FOC (forward of center) is over 18%. I'm shooting 20'' Golt Tip Lazern II's with 110 gr brass inserts plus the Blazers. Uisng 100 and 125 gr Slick Trick mags for broadheads. Works well for me.
