The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana) Requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a data base of all Ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers. Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is Coded.
Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011. (Including hand loaded ammo.) They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every Round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more!
If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun!
This legislation is currently pending in 18 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington.

When I was younger and braver,I lived on Manor St. for a couple of years, and when my daughter was ready to start school,we moved out to Millersville,Didn't want her going to city schools like myself and her Mother.I thought it was too dangerous then and that was in the early 80s. And it's much worse now !I was born and raised in Lancaster city.and avoid the city at all costs today.
Many moons ago in the 70's Lancaster used to be a nice town except for the ward. Now the riff raff ruined the whole darn city.No different in other places like reading.

I agree rich, I moved up here in 1968 from Virginia, Lancaster at that time was a very nice place, I worked there for 40 yrs. and watched it go down the tubes, the riff raff has turned most of the place into a slum town, what a shame!!

The 7th ward wasn't too bad in the 70s,I dated a girl who lived on S.Marshall St. right at S. Duke St. I walked all over the ward and never had any problems,as for today, you wont find me anywhere near there !
Now a days if I even get close to Lancaster I'm packin.Heck the punks even took over chucky cheese for crying out loud. On here I call them riff raff and punks but away from here I have other names. ;D
