How many & whut do ya carry?? I normally carry 4-5. Found this one to be the best so far (as of today ;D ) CVA 4-in-1 Loader AC1509 Clear see through design. Can use as bullet starter, powder measure, palm saver and two compartment preloader.

Hey Loggy, somehow Buckslayer got me straightened out with my logging-in problems, so I'm back in business. I use those red, soft-sided tubes for "speed" loads. I cut them down so they're about 1/2 inches longer than my optimum charge for my .54 cal. They're quiet, pretty much water tight, and certainly "traditional"! I carry a six cavity loading block with six patched balls, and six "speed" loads.

I have no idea where to get them anymore, if I did I'd buy a bunch more, but I use these. I got them from Walmart but Walmart doesn't carry them anymore so mine are kinda old. I've bought piles of speed loaders and I've found these to be the best. I've got some like Loggy's but they can leak. It's disconcerting to spend a day hunting wet weather and find your powder's wet inside your speedloaders. I've also used the straight though speedloaders which have 1 cavity for powder and bullet. They're OK if you shoot pellets but are lousy for loose powder. For range work I use these vials: www.eandkscientific.com/product.php?productid=16265 In the picture they show it's the one on the right. They're 7ml vials. They hold about 120 gr of Triple Seven.
