thats a pretty darn nice bird there never saw a turkey strut on the roost however just think'n outloud lol was that a decision to get that bird on the wall and off the floor?

Yes that was my decision! You see I have a darn cat and I knew if he was standing on the floor he would be used as a scratching post of some sort. LOL So my taxidermist came up with this solution for me.

I really like it, I couldn't do a floor mounted one either as the dogs would probaby get to it.....

The guy is down around willowstreet. All he does is birds. It is my fatherinlaws cousin but if you ever get a turkey,duck,grouse,or any other bird and want it mounted I couldn't say of anyone better. PM me if you ever need his info.

Will do, thanks for the info., I should have got my gobbler from last year mounted, I have got some nice gobblers over the years but he had an 11" beard that was the longest to date for me.
