Well with trout season underway last weekend down here in the south central/east part of the state, & it soon to come every where else, I figured we would start another trout log for the season.
Just to let everyone know how you've been doing & where you've been heading.
Also, feel free to post pics in this thread.

4/5- Didn't make it out first day because of a game in State College but did get out on Sunday.
Fished an hour on Mountain Creek & caught 1...12-14" rainbow...however the bugs were bad already & i didn't stay out long

I haven't kept up on much over the past few years when it comes to fishing but, how are you fishing when the season shouldn't be open?

The Yough River is open for trout all year below the confluence with the Casselman River.

I went to the Yough this evening for about an hour. The trout were active today. I had a palomino follow on four casts. Wouldn't hit anything. I also had other trout follow. I missed a couple and caught two rainbows. Nice evening.

Went to Twin Lakes today for a few hours. I caught six trout, all rainbows. Missed a few also. My best today, 18" rainbow I also caught one tagged trout

Fished the yough today with the youghguide. Great guy to fish with.Fishing was slow but the son came through as always. We had a fair amount of hits but just couldn't drive the hooks home
